Working on the field

"Spring will end soon, I should plant something or I wont be able to sell anything to earn money"
She went to the toolbox and took out, hoe, sickle, watering can, and some turnip seeds.

"Oh, my..there's so much weeds on the field, I wonder if I can cut them all before noon"
she looks like losing her enthusiasm to start the work on field, sighed, and she start cutting the long weeds.

---Few hours later--

"Phew, now, the land is clear, I'll need to till the soil, plant the seeds, water them and my job is done for today."
She looked at the clear field, and the wind blows gently

"I wish the time could stop now..its so relaxing and refreshing."
she shook her head, and get back to work.

She hold the hoe with both her hands, with all her might she lift it and till the soil, the hoe was heavier than she thought. To till a few lines of soil drained all her energy, so she stopped to take a break.

"I wont be able to finish the work if I dont hurry.."
she tried to lift the hoe again to finish up the last bit, but she just dont have any energy left

"Taking a break for lunch wont hurt right?"
she chuckled, and sat down under the apple tree, took out her lunch box and eat them.

Carth had just got back from the city, he had picked up something for Miku. He held a box as he walked over to where Miku was. He looked up at the apple tree as he put down the box. Carth opened the box to show her what was inside.

"Itsa' machine to take the seeds out of yur' crops. Once you grow some of couse."

"Hello, Mr Carth, owh you got me a seedmaker!That machine will be very useful, thanks alot! "

she was really happy to have this great man to help her with the things in the farm

"I'm planning ro plant some turnips before the season ends,and just now I tilled the soil, but i'm not really sure i've done it correctly. Would you mind to take a look at the field, and give some comments.Actually its the first time i'm doing this"

"Okay, one minute..." Carth said walking over to the field. He observed for about five minutes then walked back to Miku.

"Well, ya didn't dig out some of the weeds deep enough, meanin' they'll grow back on you. Then the big rocks are still left, but that's because you havn't upgraded your Hammer yet, saw with the axe and the logs."

"Ah, i see...thats why the when i hit the rocks with my hammer it didnt event crack a lil bit..
Gosh! I have lots of things to do.."
Thinking that she still need to dig up the weeds till the roots and some other things to do, she stop eating her lunch, packed it and get ready to work again.

"I dont think i'll be able to run this farm..I'm a newbie afterall, maybe I should leave the farm to someone's more experienced like you"

"Eh, I'm too old to run it by my lonesome. What If I help ya, we could make a great farm together. How does that sound?" Carth said smiling.

"Are you sure about that Mr Carth? You will be the best partner I'll have, but I might be not that good for you, even worse."

"I'm sure, worked all my life. I've been waiting to get back on my feet. Plus two finances will help pay for things." Carth siad acting real proud.

" You are really a kind man, I'm glad the one who'se helping me is you..

So, what should I do now? Clean the field again or should I plant the seeds on the tilted soil first?"

"You plant, I'll clean up whats left. But last night I saw a few rats, and I'm sure I saw a Kyote. You may want to look into getting a Dog or cat later on." Carth said before he picked up the machine and hauled it into the shed. He got his hoe and went out to clean up the fields.

"Alright, I'll go to the town and get a dog in local pet store after this.."

She took out the turnip seeds and plant them on the soil, then she went back to the toolbox to get watering can to water the plants.

Carth walked voer to Miku and stuck the hoe into the ground. He leaned on it and took a drink of water. He had another bottle of water that he handed to Miku.

"There ya are, take a break." Carth smiled breathing heavily, "Now if you do get a dog I could build you a Dog house..."

"Thanks."
she grab the water and drank it.

"Are you sure you can built the dog house, not doubting your skill, but I can always ask a carpenter to do it"

My skills may be a bit rusty... I'll tell ya what I'll get the Carpenter to do it. I knew him since he moved here, oh when you go get the dog tell Roger Carth sent ya."

"Ah, I see..okay, so the owner of the petshop is Roger, and I'll need to tell him that you sent me there.
kay, I understand.
Should I go to get the pet before its too dark?"

"Yeah get going, I'll finish up here." Carth smiled.

"Thank you, I'm going now."
she ran to the farm entrance, before she left, she asked the old man

"Do you need anything from the town?"

"I'll be going out to get the Dog House ordered... So no, I'll pick up some things on my way back." Carth said finishing up the field.

"Okay, then see you later "

"Bye!" Carth shouted watching her leave.

Cart he picked up the tools and the empty bag and put them in the Shed. He looked around the shed then walked back to his house. He took a shower and then put on some nice clothes for his walk. He took his cane he used to walk around town. Carth then set out for the Carpenters house.
